Promises

On this page you will find scrptural promises from the Holy Bible. I got much of the inspiration for sharing them by reading The Holy Bible as well as, "Healed of Cancer", by Dodie Osteen. Ms. Osteen was diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer in 1982 and given three weeks to live. She credits her fath in God's healing promises in the scriptures for her healing. As far as I know, at the time of this writing (2014), she is still alive.

 I quoted these scriptures every day for years in the hope of receiving God's healing for my many infirmities. "Healed of Cancer", is available for purchase on the internet. I've seen it on Amazon.com and highly recommend it. But, nothing beats the number one bestseller of all time, The Holy Bible, itself, for inspriational guidance and encouragement.
 
 PROVERBS 4:20-23: The Word of God will save your life.
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my saying. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
 
JOSHUA 21:45: God’s Word will not fail.
Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken…All came to pass.

ROMANS 8:11: The Spirit of Life is making your body alive.
 He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

SECOND CORINTHIANS 1:20: God is for you.
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
 
EXODUS 15:26: Obey God's Word and be healed.
"If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians [in the permissive sense]. For I am the Lord who heals you."

Hebrews 11:6 says that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

DEUTERONOMY 7:15: God takes all sickness away from you.
"And the Lord will take away from you all sickness [Notice, it doesn't say, "I will take away from you part of the sickness or certain kinds of sickness," but "I will take away from you ALL sickness], and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you."

MALACHI 3:10: Obey all God's commandments and receive all His blessings.
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessings that there will not be room enough to receive it."

PSALM 103:1-5: One of God's benefits is healing.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits...
     And what are God's benefits?
Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

PSALM 107:20: God's Word is healing.
He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

PSALM 118:17: God wants you to live.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

DEUTERONOMY 30:19: Choose to live. Be a fighter!
"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendents may live."
Every day I say out loud, "Devil, take your hands off me. I will not let you destroy me. I will not let you kill me. I will not die an early death, but I will live and declare the works of the Lord."

PSALM 91:16 You will live a long life.
With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
I usually personalize this verse and say, "With long life He satisfies me and shows me His salvation."

ISAIAH 53:5: Jesus bore your sins AND your sicknesses.
He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
